Foundation Day Morning Tea

Congratulations to the hard working staff and students who provided such high quality food and service at last Friday's event. Year 11 caterers manned the kitchens and selected year 10, 11 and 12 students provided the customer service. A fine start to the year.

Valentine's Day Stall

Romantics were treated to gourmet treats at a stall presented by the year 12 Cateres and the year 9 Home Ec students.Heart shaped biscuits and mini cupcakes were favourites on the day. Thanks to Mrs Clare and Ms McGovern.

Year 11 Hospitality Studies students will be conducting an industry observation of the local Nerang McDonalds next Tuesday 24th February in preparation for the research assignment. Students will be evaluating the operation of a fast food establishment.

Pancake Tuesday

Year 9 Home Economics students are planning some fun and games for Shrove Tuesday on the 24th February including making and selling fresh pancakes. This was a sell out last year so get in early.

Interact Dinner

The Annual Interact Changeover Dinner will be on Tuesday 17th March. Catering and hospitality students will be involved in this evening function working under the direction of a visiting teaching chef. This is a great opportunity for some industry experience for would-be chefs.
