To enrol your child at Nerang State High School in 2026, please contact our administration office via telephone 07 55 037 888 to schedule an enrolment interview appointment. Alternatively, email: admin@nerangstateshs.eq.edu.au to enquire.
Enrolment interviews (approximately 30-mins in duration) are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings between 9am and 10.30am.
Both Parent/Guardian and the Student are to attend.
Please arrive 15 minutes beforehand and head to Parent Reception.
During this time, you will be asked to complete the Enrolment documentation. (Please note - the uniform shop is open until 11am for you to visit after your successful interview)
If you wish to prepare the enrolment documents ahead of the interview, please complete and sign the following documents.
You can return them via email them to the school, OR bring them along on the day.
**Please note - the Preliminary Enrolment Form for Year 7 in 2027 is not yet live. Please check back again in January 2026**
Please indicate if your student has accessed any of the following services (please provide supporting documentation):
- Learning support
- Special Education Program
- Guidance Officer
Please provide a copy of the following documents at time of enrolment:
- Birth Certificate or acceptable official documentary evidence of date of birth and name e.g. Immunisation Letter. It is a Commonwealth Government proviso that for Australian births after 20 August 1986, that the child’s birth certificate must be accompanied by evidence that, at the time of birth, at least one of the parents was an Australian citizen.
- School Academic Reports for previous two semesters (Not applicable if moving from Primary School to first year of High School)
- Australian Citizenship Certificate of Student or Parent (if applicable), or Australian or New Zealand Passport of Student not Parent (if applicable)
- Appropriate Visa (if applicable)
- Court Orders
- Medical documentation
We also require Proof of Residence in our catchment:- Rates Notice, OR Lease Document stating your current address
- Utility Bill, OR Drivers Licence stating your current address

Once you have supplied all documents, enrolment will be pending approval by the School Management and you will be notified of the outcome, either in person or via email
