Nerang State High School is committed to the provision of courses of study, programs of personal development and extra curricular activities aimed at assisting each individual to reach his/her full potential academically, socially, morally and physically.
Philosophy, values and beliefs
Our Comet logo points to the future and represents the dynamic movement forward of modern education. The stars in our logo are symbolic not only of the Southern Cross but also of a school with young Australians reaching out for the stars - reaching out for their goals. This is the challenge that confronts each one of us as Nerang High School charts its course.
We believe that schooling should assist our students to reach their full potential. We further believe that this is best achieved in a very caring, well-organised school which provides a comprehensive curriculum, involves parents and the community and fosters the principles of social justice.
