In accordance with the Education Act, the cost of providing instruction, administration and facilities for the education of Australian students enrolled at State schools is met by the State.
Parents/carers are responsible for providing textbooks and other consumable resources for their children while attending school.
In recognition that these costs can be high, Nerang State High School operates a Student Resource Scheme that enables our parents/carers to enter into an agreement with the school that, for a specified annual participation fee, the school provides consumables and other materials for the student, along with the temporary use of prescribed textbooks and other resources.

Please note, students also require everyday stationery and note books. The cost for these consumables is not included in the Student Resource Scheme. Parents are responsible for purchasing the items on the appropriate Stationery list for your child's year level. Please find the current stationery lists here.
