STEM
Year 7 Comets students have the opportunity to complete a STEM program, as part of their academic excellence program.
What is STEM?
STEM is a curriculum based on integrating the 4 disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics into cohesive learning experiences based on real world issues.
The need for STEM-qualified Australians and STEM skills, as highlighted by Australia's Chief Scientists are now widely recognised as being crucial for our long term future.
This is why at Nerang High we have developed a stand- alone STEM program to meet the needs of our students, to ensure that they can adapt and achieve individual successes in their future.
